I’ve got a routine going now. Nicolaides book exercises –> Draw or paint –> Write –> Read –> Repeat.

I’m running behind my schedule today so I’m going to keep this short.

Xena is still going well. Trying to establish all the dark areas. Lots of black hair.

I tried some simplified gestures today. Focusing on the simplest forms that described the gesture.

What went well?

What didn’t go so well?

Not enough sleep, took a longer nap to make up for it.

What did I learn and/or how can I do better?

Letting go and being my authentic self is much harder than I realized.

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
