It’s difficult to reserve judgement on your artwork until your far enough along for it to warrant it.
I’m looking at my painting right now, at least the pictures of it, and I’m having to keep remind myself that it is still very early in the process. Of course my current process is taking forever because I don’t spend a ton of time on it every day but still it is too early for judgement. Maybe once I begin my second pass over the entire painting refining everything I will really scrutinize all my choices and make changes, as for now I’m very happy with the current progress.
