My study of warm and cool values turned out well. I spent another hour and a half on this painting in between working almost all day.
Still life paintings can be boring to do and to look at but there is no easier way to practice working with oil paint. If I can I’m going to try and always have a still life setup and my paints ready to go, this makes it even more of an easy task to just get started painting.
