  1. That is a great question Susan. I like the process of painting the most, and when I’m painting at night in front of a still life its easy to get lost in the process. I also focus a lot on learning and improving my abilities and the stable , controlled setting of a still life lends itself well to a perpetual student.

    But soon, I think I may begin to break away from the still life, I have been doing it exclusively for a while now and I’m feeling a bit stagnant.
