There are times when it is best to recognize my mood and deal with it by taking a day to relax. Of course I still did some painting, I just shortened it today.
I painted for an hour today, it doesn’t look like I got anything done on this painting but that is not the point of daily art. I worked on it with as much focus as I could muster. But I knew that after 1 hour I should put it down or else I may mess something up. I was just too distracted today, the distractions were good, so it all worked out. I plan to go full force again tomorrow.
I got some of one arm done and I laid in some initial intense colors for the closer hand. I plan on using these bright reds as accents to show through subsequent layers.
