Honestly I don’t think I need to get too detailed in his body, the major part of this drawing, his portrait, is done and I like it.
What went well?
I was able to block in the rest of his body fairly quickly by blending the charcoal alot.
What didn’t go so well?
I’m struggling with a good balance of sketchy/linear and blended work.
What did I learn?
A few strokes of the eraser to pull in some highlights in important places really makes a huge difference.
