The second time painting my smelly daisies went much better, I worked hard on this little painting and it paid off.
The difference was that I took my time and focused harder on what I was doing also I tried to keep it all simple. When painting a bouquet of flowers there is so much information that you have no choice but to either go super realistic or simplify complex areas into shapes.
This is also one of those paintings where the photo doesn’t do it justice, I couldn’t get a good picture of it no matter what.
