Many posts I’ve talked about having the motivation, willpower and commitment to showing up on the hard days and today my commitment was tested.
My sleep was absolutely terrible last night. Oh well! It happens, that doesn’t change the fact that I’m committed to being the best artist I can be and showing up daily. Challenges make me stronger!
It’s on days like this that I practice micro wins. I don’t try to get 4 hours of art in or do any super complex mental tasks or crazy workouts. I get everything done but I keep it short and easy. I match my tasks to my energy and celebrate that I’m showing up and not curled up in bed letting the day pass by.
We have to know that we are going to have hard days, this is life. And when those inevitable stormy days come by don’t get upset, it’s all part of the game. Show up as best as you can because when you do that on the hardest days all other days get easier.
Fandom Fitness Drawing
I’m not taxing my brain too much on this drawing today. I don’t want to screw it up when I know I don’t have the best focus. So I chose simple areas to work on. Filling in dark areas and darkening up established areas.
