I’m back in the groove now with the beginning of a new Fandom Fitness drawing. This time I’m drawing Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory.
I was a bit rushed for this start of this drawing, but tomorrow I’ll take my time refining it. I plan on pulling some influence from my drawing of Spock.

Warm-up and DrawABox exercises
The normal 15 minute warm-up.

Lots of challenges today with the 250 box challenge. I even started adding a “D” next to some of the boxes where the initial lines were misplaced giving the box a distorted look.

One Minute Gestures
I feel that my gestures have improved a lot lately. What I’ve been doing is trying to describe forms with minimal lines yet keep the energy going not only in the drawing but also in my body.
Daily Composition and Daily Sketch
A sketch of some of the stuff on my desk then a drawing of a young man skating through our neighborhood.

What went well?
Awesomely productive day with art this morning and I’ve started on the Sheldon Cooper drawing after finishing all kinds searching for the right image.
What needs work?
Family before art.
What did I learn?
Every line on a box is important and it takes a lot of focus to get them right especially when your free handing each one.
