It has become apparent to me that painting wilted and dead sunflowers is much harder than painting one that are alive and cheerful. But, I enjoy a challenge, and hopefully at some point during this painting I can make it so it doesn’t look so flat. The top priority for this painting though is pace. I want to achieve some semblance of space with the cloth, it may take me a week to accomplish it though.
