Session #572, Work #529

This painting seems rather sad, but is quite fitting for today.

I wanted to continue this painting for a second session but when I had time to return to the still life the sunflower had wilted down way too much. Lesson learned here, if your going to paint flowers for multiple sessions keep them in water.
