I’m really taking my time on this one. I spent the whole hour tonight just on the orange and a small area around it.
I’m noticing that painting really well is taking some extreme focus for me to accomplish. Especially when I’m trying to place each stroke just once. So the position, shape, value, color and edges have to be spot on for each and every stroke. Sometimes it can get quite frustrating because I maybe get two good strokes out of an hours work, but its a great feeling when I do get it right.
