Session #552, Work #517

Lazy day today. I spent some of the day today putting coats of varnish on paintings to try and get them ready for better photos. I want to start posting my work to an online shop, maybe I will sell a few, but I’m not getting my hopes up. I was also trying to get a good setup for taking photos of my paintings. Most of them are small, but most of them are also dark so I have a lot of issues with glare.

Tonight’s painting of a salt shaker and orange was a quick setup. One day I will begin to really challenge myself, but tonight, after an amazing outdoor BBQ party with cider and pounds of meat, I really didn’t feel like doing much but going into a food coma.

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
