Tonight I was calm, relaxed and ready to take my time on a painting. I wish my mind was in this state for every piece of artwork that I carried out. I was able to traverse this complex still life with ease, as if I was one tenth my size and crawling over every inch of the objects before me. I looked, I recognized, I processed, then I executed with ease hundreds of times almost as if it were more meditation than painting. I would never make a bad painting if I could get my head here each night.

Chris Beaven

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
