So this is one of the panels that I used an oil ground on. It has taken this panel a couple weeks to dry before I could paint on it, and I was really hating life while using it.
The painting surface was so slick that I kept pulling more paint off the panel than I was putting on. This really sucks when your trying to paint a very dark area and all you see is bristle strokes of white through it. I really need to figure out how to best use this surface because I know that many master artists think that oil ground canvases are superior.
