I really liked how this painting turned out. But, I do realize that I’m avoiding the continued work on my long term still life painting. So, that means I’m going to push myself to work on it until I finish in the next couple days.
There is something about organic objects, but they are just very interesting to paint. I guess its due to their immense complexity. Just look at any tiny thing that was grown or is growing and imagine reproducing it in fine detail. This is vastly more complex then anything man made.
