Session #388, Work #373

I worked a bit over an hour today on this chart but again I was so busy with all kinds of other things I didn’t have enough time to finish it.

Tonight there was a trivia night at park pub close to the zoo and I hung up my paintings to auction them. I was really nervous about showing my work for the first time in a long, long while, but after we got into the trivia most people just didn’t pay attention to them. It wasn’t a great venue for showing art, but I’m glad I did it. Hell, I would be super nervous if I had to put up my work in a very professional place. It was nice to ease into it tonight.

Schevenings Yellow Medium Chart

Chart Notes:

  • I changed the location of TOR and Alizarin Crimson ad the flow from warm to cool colors is much more harmonious.
  • This chart is almost identical to the Schev yellow lemon chart, there are differences but the difference is not large enough to warrant both colors on my palette.
  • The yellow medium colors are very slightly more “natural” looking. The yellow lemon is so light it looks like every swatch has a bit of white.
