I was trying to capture the flow of the leaves from left to right and I started this drawing with swooping motions of my pencil. I wasn’t worrying too much with the accuracy of the drawing but I did want to grasp the general shape.
But, my idea went astray. I think I became to caught up in the details, lost most of the movement and ended up with a drawing that looks uncertain of what its trying to convey. I was also way off in my values as everything should be much darker. I have done this many time so I should be compensating instead of continuing with bad habits.
