I decided to see a movie after my drawing class, and I did this quick sketch right before the movie started.

The Drawing

The movie theater that I went to has screens on multiple floors. I was on the top floor looking down at the concession stand of the floor below me. It was a lot of fun dealing with all the angles created by the counters, machines and designs on the floor.

I wish I had more time before the movie to work on this but after 30 minutes I had to run and get a good seat. There is so much to draw here I could easily have spent a couple hours on it.

My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
