Satsumas On Black: Session 3

Really happy with this painting. Sometimes I question why I paint such mundane subjects, but then I rethink that, because these thought are predicated by an ignorant perception of what is “important” in the “art world”.

Such concepts should not exist while I interpret what I see. One day I will be able to ignore it all together, maybe then my painting experience will be zen. For this painting, its close.
