Two drawings tonight. Didn’t get much sleep so I couldn’t focus too long on the drawings cause I was so tired.
I really wanted to spend at least two hours drawing this complicated statue tonight but, I stayed up way too late last night and didn’t get enough sleep. I’m so tired.
I took my time on the first drawing, took me about an hour to get this far with all the measuring and making sure everything was correct. The accuracy turned out pretty good. The places that are off are lines that I didn’t measure thorough enough.
The next drawing I wanted to speed up a bit and test how inaccurate it would be. I did this drawing in about 30 minutes, maybe less. As you can see I made mistakes here that I would never be able to recover from the rest of the painting.
It is clear that especially right now I need to focus hard on getting things accurate. I hope in the future even if its not easier, accurate drawings can be completed faster.
The only thing to do now is spend more hours drawing.
