I had a ton of fun today during my art session rocking out to some music and piling up charcoal on the paper.
I still have a bunch of work to do on this drawing but I feel that after today’s session it has turned towards the positive.

Long Drapery Study
This is the second session on this long drapery study from The Natural Way to Draw and I found it very hard to take my time and not move to fast. I want to be as mindful as possible when analyzing the folds and shading them well.
Daily Composition and Sketch
I sketched a light bulb then continued with a couple thumbnail sketches of some wonderful compositions. The first is from Bernie Wrightson and the second is from Goya.
What went well, what was awesome! Celebrate It!
I had a ton of fun releasing some energy on the Black Panther drawing today by embracing a more expressive side of my art self and piling up charcoal. So much so that I had to vacuum afterwards.

Practicing my breathing is always helpful to activate my parasympathetic nervous system and keeping me calm and collected.
