Now that I’m getting better at painting the wood grain I have to deal with another complexity, shadows cast upon that wood grain.
I’m not getting the right transparency for these shadows that I want. I’m thinking about continuing with the wood grain and putting in some lighter shadows but eventually coming back to those shadowed areas and darkening the shadows up with glazing.
