I have a cold and even though I don’t feel like it, I’m going to do my art today. Because I set an achievable minimum.
I mentioned this many times over the years on my blog. There is only one rule for my daily art, I must do at least 30 minutes of art a day and that for the most part is me observing and recording what I see in some fashion.
This is perfect for days like today when my motivation is really low. But I still get it in, the streak stays alive, I feel accomplished and I continue to reaffirm the habit.
I owe most of my success in art to this one simple rule.
