Pattie: Portrait Struggle

I struggle to capture the most subtle of emotions and I’m not there yet but I will work on this painting for as long as it takes.

I’m also not sure about my initial use of acrylic. The face is definitely brighter and it seems to glow much more than any other part of the painting. Although I’m not sure if that is helpful…

Basically there is a lot of work left in this painting and a lot of pondering for me to do.
