I feel as if I will never reach the vision I have in my head, or even come close to it.
There is an expression, a deeply subtle emotion on Pattie’s face that I can’t seem to capture… yet.
I’ll come back to it, but for now I’m going to start branching out and working on the rest of the portrait and background. This painting is going to take a very long time. I’m on my 42nd session as of today and I don’t feel even half way done.
