Pattie: Background

I started on the background today to get away from the portrait for a bit. Her face is not done yet but it is good to work on something a bit different for a while.

I think this is all part of working on a long term painting. If I’m getting burned out by some part of it then I move to another part for a bit, it helps keep everything fresh. This also prevents me from becoming perfunctory in the process.
