Tonight I’m painting late and I’m thinking about the feeling of paint peeling on the wood shelf I’m rendering.
Thanks to The Art Spirit by Robert Henri I’m thinking hard about everything I paint and looking for more than just technique or the surface. I’m looking to communicate emotions, movement, space and sound to the viewer.
