It’s easy for me to get caught up in the surface details when painting and I need a reminder to not forget the purpose of what I’m painting.
Today I worked on Patrick’s right arm that is raised in an “okay” gesture. The entire session I had to keep reminding myself of why the arm in there, why I have it raised and in this gesture. Then question the choices I’m making when laying paint down to make sure that everything serves that main purpose.
