Patrick: Back to the Knee

I’m working on the knee again today trying to add in some transparent layers to turn the form and add texture.

The hair on Patrick’s leg is particularly hard because it has a very subtle fuzziness to it that is hard to do without a lot of working.

What went well?

I think the knee and part of the leg is done.

What didn’t go so well?

I was hoping to get more done but the quality of the texture on the leg is paramount.

What did I learn?

Drawing in the hair on the leg with a sharp brush then coming back to it with a very soft brush to knock down the edges seems to work really well. And after looking at the leg I need to have more clear patches of skin rather than a very uniform layer of hair.
