Today’s open studio figure sketch didn’t go as well as last weeks and I think it has to do with my focus. I’ve noticed that many times¬†that focus is key for me.

I guess I was thinking about too many things at once during the painting and I didn’t really settle into it. I was also going faster than I should have. The drawing took much longer than I wanted so I felt like I need to go faster to get anything done. Yet, I’ve wrote many times that speed comes from accuracy not working faster…

Anyway, I will live and learn. Happy Halloween!

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
