Open to the Core

The subject in high contrast is my favorite. Maybe that is the reason why I’m having trouble with the container collection painting.

I fear that the high contrast subject is easy to paint also. What if I’m drawn to this subject just because its easy? Am I preventing myself from growing as an artist because sub consciously I painting nothing but easy things?

Lots of questions for just a simple apple on black.
