I didn’t have a super productive art day today but I did get some work done moving my website to a new host.
This current WordPress blog is hosted on Media temple and I’m unhappy with all the overage charges and their lack of information of what to do about it. So I’m moving to Siteground. The best move about this transition is that I finally got chrisbeaven.com as my new domain.
For the Princess Bride drawing today I was able to work on the background and get it blocked in enough that I feel it’s safe to move back to Wesley and Buttercup. That’s what I’ll be doing tomorrow. Getting the value separations done for them.

Modeled Drawing in Ink
I haven’t done a modeled drawing with an ink pen in a long while. This is another reason why I really like the The Natural Way to Draw, because it almost never gets monotonous and repeats enough for maximum learning.
Daily Composition and Sketch
We got some chess pieces today and a girl sitting. Both are from stock photos but the girl started from my memory and I fixed all my errors in ink.
What went well, what was awesome! Celebrate It!
I was happy to get some work done on moving my website to a new host.
What needs work? What did you learn?
My back is hurting and I need to see a doctor about it.
How am I going to Optimize moving forward?
Monday I’ll make an appointment.
