I’ve done three of these monochrome starts now and I’m not perfect at it, what gives? Just kidding, of course, I hope to get better around number 100.
Back to the burnt umber, this color just works really well. I think I need to keep it more simple though. I’m getting too much into shading rather than just focusing on good proportion in drawing.
I have to keep reminding myself that this is just practice on starting and is not meant to be a finished painting.
This is an interesting subject. I feel you could do something incredible with poses like this.
