I’m painting the pull-over jacket that is draped over the chair I’m sitting in.
After spending all day on the mainland at the hospital, driving, and with friends I’m working on this painting again at 7 at night.
Again I’m thinking about texture here. It’s not much different than the texture of the background even though one is a wall and the other is fabric. I’m using a series of smaller brush strokes to try and replicate the fuzzy look of the fabric. Plus the fabric has a bit of speckled variation in its color so I’m trying not to mix my paint so thoroughly to replicate this.
