Lots of Gesture and Contour

I’m still working through the exercises in The Natural Way to Draw plus I’m trying to make up for some lost time this week.

What went well?

Lots of time on gestures and contours. Both are getting better in their own way.

What didn’t go so well?

Still working hard on the focus for contours.

What did I learn and/or how can I do better?

After reading again how Nicholaides wants the contours to be done I’m understanding more about their importance.

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
