Living Room: Table Done

I’ve finished the table this session and I’ hope all the lines are straight enough.

If there is one thing that I’ve learned from this painting is how to paint some straight lines and how to adjust their sharpness. It would be much more difficult to paint the lines if the painting was larger as keeping my hand steady even for a line that is 4 inches long is hard.

I’m happy with how the table turned out and I’m anxious to get to the end of this painting and varnish it so I can actually take a picture of the entire painting without glare. At some point I want to also figure out how to adjust these images for web without making all the edges so sharp. The painting does look much better in person.
