Another hour spent on this painting and in this session I have a dilemma on how to paint stripes.
When I drew out the image I spent extra time makes sure that I got the stripes on my pants just right. I didn’t want to lose that hard work by painting over my pants with a dark color then redrawing the lines. Besides I didn’t think it would look good painting the lines over the dark background. So I decided to just do the tedious thing and paint each square as I go, adding in the lines also. This is going to take a lot more time but I like the effect already.
