Living Room: Lost in the Detail

The clutter is intentional, it’s part of our lives, and I’m interested in getting lost within it.

There is a lot of stuff in this painting and I want to paint all of it faithfully. In order to do that though there is a point where I get lost in the detail. There is so much complexity that it is easy to lose its order within your head while drawing.
