Living Room: Clothing

Clothing is difficult to paint when the photo is blurry.

Not only is the photo blurry but the clothing in the photo is a very poofy sweater. The gray sweater looks like a pile of cotton balls and I’m not sure about the brown on the bag…

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."

  1. I couldn’t tell which sweater that was. I think it’s one Shelly gave me. I wonder if you took the actual item out and was able to paint from that, would it be too artificial in the painting, or would it be easier to detail it?

    1. You have mentioned that several times before but I fear that it would look completely different from what is in the photo, maybe too detailed, or the light could be much different. But I should try it on a future painting some day.
