These life drawing sessions of a two hour painting is really testing my ability, I’m going to keep doing them so I can get better.
I don’t think I will continue to do quick portraits for my major work. I like to spend a lot of time on a portrait and really try and capture the essence of the person. But I think I can really learn from painting from a live model it is a great practice that will definitely inform my long term paintings.
