Life Drawing with Gouache

I brought my gouache paints to life drawing today to see if I could paint a figure in gouache.

I think I would have done better on this painting if I would have focused more on the portrait rather than trying to get the whole figure on the board. I’m working really slow with gouache. Even though I’ve worked with it several times in the past I still fill like I’m trying to figure out the basics.

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
