Life Drawing Gage Academy

Today was the second session at Gage Academy life drawing for the month of August. The drawing went really well and this time I got there early so I could warmup. Unfortunately I was an hour and a half early.

The good news is that I was so early that I could make up for lost time yesterday. So I took a seat in front of a skeleton and began drawing in ink.

I still had more time so I drew the view from the Gage third floor window.

Two poses in the same place and the second one is always better. Maybe I should do a bunch of drawings all from the same view next time and see how much I learn from it.

The second one from this view is drawn much better, at least the face is, but I didn’t get as far. I just now realized while looking at the picture of this drawing that her arm is much too short. Funny how the realization comes much later…
