Every so often I need to focus on the basics to keep things fresh in my head because no matter how skillful I get in art the basics can still trip me up especially at my current skill level. So tonight at life drawing I focus on accuracy by measuring a lot.
Measuring so much reduces the amount of drawing that I get done for these short poses but that is fine, my twice a week life drawing session are all about learning, not making art that I plan on hanging in a gallery.
