I setup the model a bit different today at the open studio. We usually put the model on a dark background but today I switched it all to white.
Honestly I was thinking that an all white background wouldn’t work in life drawing but it went really well. All the cast shadows and differences in light was very nice. I also lit the model with two lights, one on either side of her and that increased the interest in the shadows. Although you can’t tell much from my drawing, it was a really nice pose.
