Open studio life drawing Saturday again here on south Whidbey Island.
The drawing went okay this morning, but I wasn’t too focused. I was just relaxing having fun drawing from the model and conversing with fellow artists.

I still think the work is good, but I find it important to connect to others with a similar passion as you. Regardless if your work is the ‘greatest ever” or mediocre, I believe that connectivity to other humans will keep the flame going for our craft. It’s why I go to my writing groups and co-works every week.

I totally agree, although to be honest I don’t get a lot of interaction with the other artists during the life drawing. We are all focused on working.
