Life Drawing

I learned today that the only south Whidbey island life drawing class will be shutting down for the summer sometime soon. This is very disappointing to say the least on thing that I look forward to most every week is drawing from the live model. So now I have to come up with other options…

I really don’t have it in my budget to hire a model weekly so I may have to venture out of my comfort zone and find some people willing to do some figure drawing with me to offset the cost, or I need to make a long drive each week to Gage Academy in Seattle or another figure drawing group in Anacortes. If these don’t pan out then I need to just suck it up and draw from photos…

  1. I know how much your life-drawing classes mean to you and how important they are. I’m sure things will work out. We moved here for the artist and writer communities, and I find it ironic that we both are possibly getting involved in evolving the community even more.
