Kidney Transplant: Hospital Day 2

The transplant went well and I’m not dead! 🙂

Today is the start of my recovery… actually yesterday was the start but I was under the influence of a lot of anesthesia so it didn’t really count. I’m in bed rest all day and I won’t be getting up for at least another day so I’m drawing what is around me and on my hospital tray is this small breathing torture device that I need to use to keep my lungs healthy while I’m doing nothing but resting. I do have all kinds of tubes and wires connected to me especially a wonderful button for morphine yay!

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
