As I block in the clothing I’m thinking about the textures in Andrew Wyeth’s paintings.
The one thing that I found very profound in Andrew Wyeth’s Retrospective at SAM was texture. His paintings were very detailed to the point that the weave of fabric was noticeable and it add a lot to the feeling of every painting. Once I have blocked in this painting I will work on texture, and I may get out smaller brushes, I feel a need for minute detail.
