I worked on the other half of my face today and was having fun with all the colors.
I always find it very interesting that skin looks much more natural when you add blues and greens.
For some reason, at this point, it looks like a Paint-by-Number portrait. But in my non-artistic technique kind of brain, this is a good thing. The drawing is well done, and the painting looks exact. Well, obviously, it’s not a paint-by-number because those tones are never so subtle and exact. It looks great. We will have to hang it over our fireplace…
